The SFM003 3-Axis Spatial-Filter Mount is designed for laser and allows access to the laser beam as it traverses the pinhole filter. The spatial filter consists of a precision, differential-micrometer-driven y-z stage, which controls the pinhole location, and a single-axis translation slide for the focusing lens.

As a combination of spatial filter and beam expander we specialize in different ratio beam expanders for laser and optical applications requiring expansion of laser light rays. The output of most lasers is on the order of one millimeter or so. Larger beam diameters are vital to metrology, laser ranging and communication applications. Expanded beam are also required to improve beam focusing in material processing applications such as laser marking, engraving, drilling, welding, micromachining and trimming.
